How this estimate works
For each job you select, we take the weekly time per person, multiply it by the share AI could help with, then by your team size. Times and shares are cautious starting estimates for you to adjust, not verified industry averages. The calculation assumes everyone does each selected job and that the jobs don’t overlap.
For context, in Thomson Reuters’ 2025 Future of Professionals survey of 2,275 professionals, people using AI expected to save about five hours a week within a year.
Hourly employment cost = annual salary × 1.12 ÷ 2,080, using 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year and a simplified 12% super allowance. Value of time freed = hours back per week × hourly employment cost × 52.
The time only comes back once your team has the right tools set up and knows how to use them on their own work. It’s best spent on clients, quality and growth. The estimate doesn’t include software costs or setup time.
